I Steal Stories from My Life for Bedtime

Georgia likes me to tell her stories when she's laying down to sleep.  I have made up a couple, but mostly I tell her stories about a nameless young lady who does the stuff I have done, and either ends the way my story ended, or ends much nicer. Tonight I told her a story about a young girl who planned to go on an adventure, and began to get nervous once she began to prepare, that the adventure wouldn't be all that he hoped it would be.  In the story she decided that even if the adventure wasn't exciting, and even if it didn't help anyone, that she tried, and that would be adventure enough.  Well, of course in the story I told at Georgia's bedtime tonight, the adventure changed the world and made everyone's lives better.  The young girl went on high hikes in the mountains, and through rivers, and swam in the ocean, and petted exotic animals who kissed her with their long long beaks.  But the adventure the not-as-young-as-she-sounds-in-the-story girl is actu...

I hereby give you permission to not worry about what you're going to wear every single day, not to worry about what someone will think if they see you wearing the same outfit two times in a row, and to look cute, and be ready to work out when you suddenly get a minute.  BOOM! Now, I am someone who LOVES clothing.  Looooooove it.  I regularly wrestle with the idea that the wearing of costly apparel and fine twined linens is akin to (selfish) pride and a symptom of a separation of our hearts from God (putting out hearts on the vain things of the world).  But luckily, I am cheap, and the following makes sense.  Hyrum shared an article with me, maybe 8 months ago about a woman who wears the same outfit every day to work, so she doesn't have to think about it anymore.  She wears different things after work when she goes out, she is still herself, and her personality has taken no hits at at all.
